From potatoes to laser printing
From potato to laser, and from ink to inkjet Tonypandy based
company, HSW Print, is celebrating the world of print with
a photographic competition for its annual corporate calendar.
The company is laying down the gauntlet to budding photographers
for a chance to see their work in print in a calendar which
gives 12 very diverse images of the printing business.
HSW Print is one of the longest established printing companies
in South Wales and they are inviting amateur photographers,
colleges and societies to send in their creative photography
for their 2008 calendar which will be distributed to clients.
Malcolm Hackman, director of HSW Print, said, “We are
hoping to attract a number of entries which will illustrate
the industry of printing and hope all the photographers who
take part will really be creative and come up with some striking
images from the most basic ink and pens right through to the
most advanced print technology.
“We will be providing cash vouchers for photographic
supplies to the 12 winners but more importantly it will be
a chance for them to see their creative work in print.
The HSW Print calendar has become a long running tradition.
Each year the company looks for new and inventive contributions.
The 2006 calendar included artwork from pupils at Ysgol Hen
Felin School, Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Entries can be submitted via our online
entry form, and need to be digital and
of high quality for reproduction purposes.
