Councillor fires up HSW Print’s new press
Councillor Bevan from Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council
visited HSW Print to fire up its newly installed two-colour
press
This is the latest in the line of a substantial investment
programme, which HSW Print has embarked on in recent years.
Directors of the company, David and Malcolm Hackman (pictured

of the art printing and finishing machinery in order to continue
to expand the company and maintain its position as one of
the leading printers in the UK.

Malcolm said, “HSW print employs over 80 local people
and we handle printing jobs for large and small companies
across the whole of the UK.
“We are delighted to welcome Councillor Bevan to HSW
Print to fire up the newly installed Heidelberg Speed Master
102 two colour press.”
David Hackman added, “The new machine will enable us
to expand the business as it will once again increase capacity.
The printer is ideally suited to printing covers for books
and brochures which forms a large part of our business.”
The Hackman family has been in the printing industry for
60 years in 2008 and are delighted that the new press will
be up and running at the start of this milestone year.
Councillor Bevan, who is the Lead Cabinet Member for Economic
Development and Skills at Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough
Council said “I was delighted to be invited to view
the facilities at HSW Print and to meet the directors and
staff. The company is a key employer in the region and it
is heartening to see steady growth and investment in key equipment
which strengthens its position as a leader in the printing
field.”
